Foodservice Distribution System TM

Come First with Real-time Response to Delivery Exceptions.

Summary Systems addresses the unique and dynamic needs of foodservice distribution by utilizing powerful wireless handheld computers to handle such issues as real-time delivery reconciliation catch weights, short unloads and delivery exceptions. Automated processes and real-time information keeps the deliveries clean, reduces paperwork, expedites billing and improves customer satisfaction.

The Foodservice Distribution System interfaces with your enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications, giving you the ability to upload into the handheld computer delivery, invoice, customer and route data. It combines a rugged handheld with wireless communication and has optional GPS, printer and engine interfaces, providing you with the full range of benefits of the Fleet Commander System.

System Overview
As the driver makes deliveries, the products being delivered are scanned or recorded, providing the driver with instant feedback on the accuracy of the delivery. The driver enters exceptions and prints a clean delivery receipt, invoice or credit. Upon departure from the customer site, exceptions can be instantly sent to headquarters for proper handling.
